Setup and user guide for SoloTrack. Android and PC instructions.
​​PC INSTRUCTIONS:

A.) On the Android device enable USB tethering in settings:
Settings -> Network and Internet -> USB Tethering -> ON

B.) Install any GPS gate/splitter, Franson GpsGate 2.6 is recommended and has been verified to work with SoloTrack.

C.) You will need your Android Device's IPV4 address. You can obtain the IPv4 address on Windows by:​

1.) Open Control Panel and select Network and Sharing Center

3.) Select Details.

2.) Find the ethernet connection created when USB tethering has been turned on inside of Android.

4.) Locate IPv4 Default Gateway.
This is the Android device's TCP/IP address.
D.) Create a virtual COM port:

1.) Open Franson GpsGate 2.6 and
Select the Input tab. Select TCP/IP Client. Then select Settings.

3.) Select the Output tab and
select Virtual COM Port from the drop-
down and select Add.

5.) Return to the Input tab and select the Open/Close button. When set to Open, the message: "Running OK!" and "Unknown data is coming in" will be displayed.

2.) Input the Android device's IPv4
address into the Server box. Input "5555" into the Port box. Press OK.

4.) Select a virtual COM port number
that is currently unused by the PC. Click
Ok.
